Rebrand The Main Logo Open top.gif in the images folder and change Article Beach Name to your own .com name, this step
Prepare Your Database - Create an empty MySQL database on your server using cpanel. - Create a username and note down its password. - Assign this user to database you created in step 1
Populate Your Database - Goto Phpmyadmin from your cpanel and select your database from left side menu.Then click SQL to open a SQL Box.
- Open the attached(in Setup Folder) ARTICLE.sql into a text editor (such as notepad or editPlus) and copy and paste all of its content into SQL box. OR you may also upload this database via the upload function in your PHPmyadmin.
- Now your database is full created and ready to use with default categories and admin login.
Prepare Your Files - Open the includes/config.inc file into a text editor (such as notepad or editPlus) and edit the database name,username and password. (you will need to edit line 10,11,12)
Prepare Your Files - Upload all files into Public_html directory on your server using FTP. You must keep the directory structure same. Once uploaded it will looks like this on your FTP.
- Set Chmod permissions on the empty folders backup and admin/backup to 777. This is so your system will be able to write the backup files to this folder.
- Change admin/images to 777 also so your system can save images to this file.
Set General Settings On Admin Panel - Your site should be up and running now. - You can login to your admin panel on http://www.yoursite.com/admin and using password admin and login name admin. - Goto Settings page and set general setting there.
All pages can be edited in this area, and it is all pretty self explanatory.
Make an extra copy of the ARTICLE.sql file, if you mess anything up just start over by reloading this database.
To re-brand the Your Very Own Article Directory website open it in an HTML editior and change the pink text that says "your name" to what ever your name actually is.
Also add your support email address to the download pages.
There are also some places to edit on each page such as testomionals and a box for you to add any bonus items you wish as well.
Be sure you edit all of the HOT PINK text, leaving any of this test as it is will give your new website an amaturish look, so be sure you do not miss any of the pink editing text!
Important: Do not forget to hook up the download and purchase buttons to your payment processor on the index.htm page and then have your payment processor return your buyers to the proper thank you pages.

Change yourdomain to what ever your domain name actually is for your website.
Important: Leave all the files and page names as they are so the site and all the downloads will work properly.
Upload all files & folders to your website as follows: images index.htm - this file requires editing ArticleSiteDir.zip ArticleSiteDir-Rights.zip reprint-rights.htm - this file requires editing rights-thanksAD.htm - this file requires editing thanksAD.htm - this file requires editing z-README-INSTRUCTIONS.htm
The ArticleSiteDir.zip is for your direct software buyers buyers and the ArticleSiteDir-Rights.zip file is for your customers that purchased the reprint rights.
Upload the ArticleSiteDir-Rights.zip file as is and your customer will be able to edit their new site just as you are now with no problems. There is no need for you to make any changes to this zip file before you upload it.
I have included the ready to download ArticleSiteDir-Rights.zip, and have also included the PHP source files for this software as your rights allow you to claim yourself as the author, break this content up for use in software sell the rights.. anything goes! Its yours to sell in any way you wish!
