1. Unzip the package.
2. Go into the "CamStudio Codec" folder, right-click on camcodec.inf,
and choose "Install."
This installs the video codec for CamStudio so that the
videos you make won't be too large for viewers on slower connections.
How To Install CamStudio – Internet Marketing Edition
3. Go back and install the main CamStudio program by doubleclicking
on Camstudio2-0(.exe).
4. After installing CamStudio, go back to your unzipped files. Click on
Producer(.exe) to select it and choose "Copy" to copy it to the
computer memory.
(This is the new version of the "SWF Producer" of
CamStudio which has the features of this "Internet Marketing Edition" (fixed
Firefox bug and redirecting capabilities).
5. Now browse (or type in the "Address" bar) to "C:\Program
Files\CamStudio" or wherever you installed CamStudio. Once in this
folder, click Edit and choose "Paste" and choose "Yes" to replace the
old file.
This replaces the old version of CamStudio SWF Producer with the
new version from the "Internet Marketing Edition."
6. Close out the window. Congratulations, you've installed CamStudio
– Internet Marketing Edition!
You can now open CamStudio and start recording. Record in AVI format
(default), then go open SWF Producer to make a version for the web. After
opening your AVI in SWF Producer, click File
Convert to SWF and you'll get an
options box.
You'll see the new "Redirect URL" feature in the "Conversion to
Flash" dialog.
